Grandma Kendall's 80th Birthday!

The whole family was there!  The first time in a very long time.  We had a photographer come for family pictures and had a great time posing for those with a crazy mass of people and children. The dinner at the Joseph Smith building was delicious as always and it was loud and fun with all the talking and catching up.  Michelle and Emma made a trivia game about grandma's life, I did pretty well but a lot of it was guess work.  I realized that I need to get to know my family members a little better.  I love my family!

I love these cute boys who have become such good friends!

Bridal Veil Falls

It was a beautiful, slightly rainy day which was perfect for a little hike up to the waterfall.  I love being outside and enjoying our Heavenly Father's creations, it is so peaceful and motivating to be in the mountains.  I am thankful for my husband Jacob who goes on adventures with me, encourages me to be the best that I can be, and loves me for who I am. I am very blessed.

President and Sister Gibbons

Our second mission president couple came home!  The Gibbons are incredible!  They were amazing mission leaders who valiantly served the Lord in Novosibirsk, Russia and are now returning to Utah to continue to serve Him.  I love them so much and am so grateful for all that they did on the mission for the Russian people as well as for the missionaries.  They were like our mission parents while we were so far away from our own parents.  Such great examples of faith, optimism, service, sacrifice, and love.

The Stewarts

I love being a part of the Stewart family.  They came to visit for a week and we had a great time.

Tennis Ball Golf
This is a game that Alex and his friends made up involving a club and a tennis ball in a park.  Lizzie is in the first picture demonstrating our stretch, reach, pull, and hit technique.

Games
The Stewarts LOVE to play games, so a lot of our time is spent learning how to play new games and playing old favorites.  The most played games this time were, The Resistance, and Saboteur.

The Scottish Festival
We had a great time on Saturday at the Payson Scottish Festival.  There was food, kilts, bagpipes, and athletic events. My favorite parts were the athletic events and seeing my man in his kilt the whole day! But I also can't leave out the bagpipes, it was incredible to hear them all day long, it goes straight to the soul.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACOB!

Jacob Alonzo Stewart, the love of my life, husband and eternal companion. I am so grateful that this handsome man was born this day 24 years ago (ya....he is younger...). I love him so much.  I made him a pot roast for lunch/dinner AND  made him a scrumptious treat that I found on Pinterest that combined two of his favorite things, doughnuts and strawberry shortcake.  I know it sounds gross but it was incredible!  You cut the doughnut in half and put whipped cream and strawberries in the middle.  I bought him a potato smasher thing (cause he found out we didn't have one) and a beautiful handmade birch wood bowl. I also rented a puppy for Jacob just like I did when we started dating.  Super cute puppy named Neal! The name makes him even more adorable.  Thanks Jacob for all that you do, you are amazing and that you are in my life, I fall in love with you more and more every day, thank you for being an amazing husband.

Family History Library

This is my new cubicle at the Family History Librar. I love this new job, because I love helping people find their ancestors and where they are from.   My boss, Fritz who I have nicknamed, "Your Highness" (because he felt old when I called him sir but said your highness would do), who calls me either Kellogg or Frosty (because I kept flaking out and not bringing a picture of myself or decorating my cubicle with Russian stuff.   I never brought a picture sooo..... this is the picture Fritz and Debbie put up for me (they erase and draw my hair back on as I cut my hair and it grows), and this is how I decorated my space (I still need some pictures of my hot husband though).  Working at the library is great.  I love it so so much.
