Christmas is Coming!

I was so excited to start our first married Christmas together and start new traditions.  We got a tree that was passed down from Grandma Kendall to Michelle to us, we then went to the store to pick out decorations for it.  Decorating our first tree, listening to Christmas music was the best way to start out the season.  I used my new paint set from Jacob to make homemade cards.  I am so happy to have all my firsts with Jacob.

Sami's Baby Showers

We had two really great showers for Sami and baby Evelyn (and Matt of course but he wasn't there. Everyone was so excited for baby Evelyn to come into our family that the parties were just awesome!

The Friend Shower

The food was delicious delicious!  Homemade bread and crackers with jams and fancy cheeses; mango and cranberry brie with pears. It was seriously so so good

Here are all the people that we love that made the party!  There were so many babies at the party!  It's crazy that we are all growing up and half of us has children, being grown up is weird but fun.

We all got our creative juices going.  We were able to make cute onesies for Eveyln to wear and remember all of the people that love her.

The Family Shower

Everyone pitched in to make this an amazing shower!  Homemade decorations, delicious grilled cheese sandwiches with tomato soup (and delicious desserts!). We also did a craft at this shower but I forgot to take pictures! But we had wood letters and covered them in bright colored papers to put the alphabet on Evelyn's wall. The Trottier's came and the Kendalls, and the Harris family. It was fun for everyone to mix and mingle.

Halloween Festivities

I have an awesome husband, and one day he said, "we are going somewhere, get in the car".  He took me to DI and also went to every Halloween/costume store within 15 minutes of this place.  We found the PERFECT stuff and we had a great time trying on stuff.  It doesn't sound like much, but it was so exciting every time we found something perfect.   Because we are being Carl and Ellie from up we went to Pop n Sweets and got soda in glass bottles with bottle caps, and colored our own bottle caps while watching UP!  It was one of the best dates we have had!  I mean look how cute he is!

Grandma Kendall's Halloween Party
Grandma's party is always fun!  We made a cool craft, painted black frame, with a creepy picture of a day coming out of the mirror.  Yummy treats and food, and of course the spider web which is fun and gets us all tangled and laughing.

Cornbelly's

Always a fun place!  Jacob loves Halloween and all the things that come with it.   We had a great time jumping on the big air pillow, but realized how old and out of shape we were when we got tired before our time was out.  Probably my favorite thing that we did was the burlap bag slide!  There was also a corn maze, tether-ball, and other games.  We then of course stayed late and went to Insanity Point (the scary parts of this place).  This was Jacob's favorite part but not particularly mine.  But I love him so I try to do scary things with him :).

Dinner Party

The Halloween dinner party at my mom's house was a huge success.  It was so fun to plan and make all the themed food and set up the table all fancy.  We planned on playing games after dinner but we all had such a great time talking that that is all we did all night.  The party consisted of:  Me, Jacob, Kate, Kye, Sami, Matt, Nate, Liz, Mckell, Stef, Sam, Whit, and Jarom along with my parents and grandparents.  What a great group of people!

And here are Jake and Audrey and Ian's costumes!  They are awesome!

Autumn

The weather has been incredible lately.   I love the cool air and the gorgeous colors! We have been spending as much time as we can outside enjoying God's creations.   We have taken pictures from our latest adventures,  a walk through the canyon, watching the Sunset at the temple, and a few other walks that we have taken.
