This is my new cubicle at the Family History
Librar. I love this new job, because I love helping people find their ancestors
and where they are from. My boss, Fritz
who I have nicknamed, "Your Highness" (because he felt old when I
called him sir but said your highness would do), who calls me either Kellogg or
Frosty (because I kept flaking out and not bringing a picture of myself or
decorating my cubicle with Russian stuff.
I never brought a picture sooo..... this is the picture Fritz and Debbie
put up for me (they erase and draw my hair back on as I cut my hair and it grows), and this is how I decorated my space (I still need some pictures
of my hot husband though). Working at
the library is great. I love it so so
much.
A way to be more aware of the tender mercies and the little happy moments in life.

Caroline and Brandon
I love these two love birds! Brandon and Caroline are perfect for each other and their reception in Midway was absolutely incredible! As I have said previously I love going to weddings and relive our wedding. My husband is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I love him so much.
Time Together
Friday June 20th
Walking, and talking, laughing, and reminiscing. Today we spent time away from the modern world and we went on a few walks. It was incredible and eye opening to the beauties of the world that our Heavenly Father created. We walked first by the Provo River out by the lake and it was gorgeous. We then went to campus and looked out onto Jacob's favorite street. We also saw a beaver in the river! It was so amazing to see him at work.

FHE Stewart Style
So we were at the store just
before FHE because we heard there was a sale.
Out of nowhere Jacob says, ok this is our FHE activity. I am going to pick out stuff that I think you
would look good in, and you are going to pick out stuff that you think I would
look good in. Haha, that Jacob is a funny kid.
We had a good time finding clothes for each other and trying them on. In
the end Jacob said, ok, what is your favorite thing I tried on? We are going to buy each other our favorite
things! So I got this beautiful peasant
blouse and Jacob got the hipster shirt! When we got home we changed into our
shirts and had our lesson. It was fun,
and a good activity seeing things through the other person's eyes. I love Jacob so much. I am so blessed to have
him in my life.
A Typical Friday
Jacob and I don't
see each other much during the week because of our conflicting work schedules.
We do what we can, but it only adds up to a few hours a day if that.
Because of this, we try to treasure every minute we have on the weekends
(while Jacob doesn't work). Yesterday was one of those days, cuddling,
talking, and going on adventures.
The Bean museum
at BYU recently opened after a 2 year renovation and they did an amazing job.
The museum has two levels and multiple areas. They have a bird/duck
room, an African room, sea creatures, bugs and insects, and one room is
dedicated to the bird carvings of Boyd K. Packer which are so delicate and
detailed. We had a great time, the world is amazing, animals are amazing, and
so much bigger than we are!
Jacob has been on
an office kick and we watched the last episode yesterday, it was the end of an
era obviously. I didn't watch all of the episodes with him but he kept me
updated on what was happening, especially with Jim and Pam. We ended the day with Sammy's shakes and some
cuddling. I just love my man!
We are the Strike!
Jacob and I have a band that we like that started in Provo, they
are called, We are the Strike. Last Friday they had a free rooftop concert
(which in Provo terms it means a whole ton of people on top of a parking garage
making noise). Concerts are not my very favorite, but this one was incredible! The band was awesome live, they have great energy and stage presence. One of my favorite things in the whole world is to just go places, and be with my favorite Jacob.

Matt's Professional Tree Climbing Competition
Yes. This is for real. Who knew right?! Well I
didn't, that's for sure, until my ultra cool brother in law Matt became an
arborist and began competing in these tree climbing competitions. There
are several events that are included in these competitions. Matt participated
in the: Work Climb, Speed Climb, Foot Lock Climb, throwing, and the
Rescue Climb. This specific competition was held in Provo this year so
they came and stayed at our house and I got to go watch Matt compete. We
had a good time hanging out with them and Matt did and awesome job!

Summer Time!
....and the livin' is easy! We have started the summer activities (that is when we have the time and aren't working).
We had a bonfire with Jacob's cousins and it was a great way to start out the summer. His cousin had a brilliant idea and we had hot dog wrapped croissants on a stick! Who would have thought right? But it was really good, and on top of that s'mores of course!
Next, our Garden. Our upstairs neighbor wanted help building (well technically her) garden. Since the soil is pretty bad in the back yard we (well technically Jacob) built these raised beds; we bought soil and picked out our plants and spent a great afternoon together planting our first garden. I thought it was quite symbolic.
YAY! I am excited for the fruit to come!!
